OVER 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE |
More than thirty years ago, the proprietor, Jim Lestrange of Saratoga County, New York, learned how to repair some of the very first computerized typesetting equipment in the publishing industry. Over the next two decades, Jim steadfastly upgraded his skills, enabling him to repair mini-mainframe systems and associated peripheral devices that existed in the days preceding the invention of the personal computer. As PCs evolved from limited prototypes to powerful desktop systems, Jim attended computer courses and gained extensive hands-on experience performing repairs, upgrades and building customized systems. Today, as proprietor of Grove Computer Services, Jim continues to keep abreast of the fast-changing world of computers. His experience as systems manager/tech support specialist at The Saratogian newspaper (then owned by Gannett Company) in Saratoga Springs, New York, co-founder/owner and pre-press manager of Saratoga County Living Magazine and as consultant to several Saratoga County area business, enables him to provide prompt, cost-effective solutions to homeowners, small businesses and community organizations. |
